An ardent practitioner of Mohiniyattom and Kuchipudi and an empanelled artiste with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. MBA, a PhD candidate in performing arts. Disciple of famous S. Natarajan, Vempatty Chinnasatyam, Satyapriya Ramana, Chirala Krishna and Girija Chandran. Has been performing in many prestigious venues in India. Devika is a leading exponent of the dance forms Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattom. All those who have seen her on stage will agree that she is an embodiment of grace, mastery and control. Her choreographic works are well researched, exquisite and discernible. Undeterred by new sprung conventions, she takes the dance forms back to their roots, retaining their undefiled spirit.Devika is recipient of the National Award "Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar - 2007" from the Central Sangeet Natak Akademy, Delhi. She now runs a dance school in Bangalore, Rakendu. Judge in Star Wars Reality show.
